- Easter, The True Story - Written by: Rabbite “Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me,” said Jesus, in the garden of Gethsemane. His life had gone through many wars but still he said, “Father not as my will but yours.” His robes were completely drenched in the mud, then he started to cry and sweat that of blood. And there he suffered for all of mans sin, so we may join him again in heaven. When every sin he suffered was complete, he returned to his apostles and fell to his feet. The soldiers seized him and took him away, And then and there for the rest of that day The people would tease him and call him rude names, and play the most evil of all of their games. A crown of thorns they placed on his head, it stained his hair the color of red. Then they constructed for Jesus a wooden cross, then said the Chief “Listen here I’m the boss! You’re going to do what I say oh yes you will, you are going to carry this to the top of that hill!” Jesus carried the cross up and up, I guess you could say he about filled the cup. They Bolted him to the cross using nails, the women on his side all began to wail. Jesus prayed again “Father they are but man, forgive them dear father, for they do not understand.” When all of his life was just about dead “Father please give up the spirit.” Jesus said. All of the evil had their fun. Jesus was dead, all was said and done. That’s what they thought, little did they know, of the miracle of life that would begin to show. A woman stood before the cave feeling she would die, a voice behind her said “Woman, why do you cry?” “My master was removed from here while he was dead!” but in the most calm of voices “Mary,” he said. Making an appearance to his apostles again, they feared him until he showed them his hands. But Down in America, they knew Jesus was the one when god said “Behold, this is my beloved son.”
